An unaware world… or is it?

Where this life is taking me I have not a clue anymore, it feels as though I am set about this world on a whirlwind without a sure direction of turning winds. I look out upon the world with tired eyes for I have seen things that people should never see and yet I know that there is so much more to see and be grateful that I have not seen as yet. I have not been in a war other than the ones at home and I have not been submitted to natural disasters, those and more must be far worse than my piddly experiences and life’s lessons. My eyes have grown weary of everything that goes on in this world, it must be a dream to go through life not aware of the daily tortures that go on or the pain felt by the simplest of things, what heaven that must be to be ignorant.

Sometimes I just want to wake everyone up and tell them “Hey look around you, open your eyes and see things for what they really are”… if only I could figure out how to do it, how to wake them all up to their own ignorances and prejudices! Maybe it is better that some are not woken up but imagine if everyone was aware of the stuff gone wrong in this world, imagine if everyone knew their own effect on others, knew what their actions did to others what this world would be like. Often I find myself saddened not for my own past but for those others out there, those who have gone through worse or similar or even less, those going through it and the pure helplessness of it all.

A ranting this is not but I do feel that this world needs to find an equilibrium of some sorts… but I also know that no matter how much I think this or want it to happen it never will because human nature is so… it is the revolving devil of human nature…

I think the trick is to be aware of it, to help those who are going through it, have gone through it and try prevent it from happening again if that is at all possible… humans can be devious creatures with alterier motives.

Another rambling by a wondering soul… probably…

  1. To quote Jack Nicholson in A Few Good Men “you can’t handle the truth”, and a I think a lot of people feel they don’t want to handle the truth and so avoid it at all costs, both in their personal lives and in the wider world.
