We might just be more alike than you think…

Ah I was tagged by a friend of mine CordieB This is so true, at one stage in my life I truly believed that I was an alien, no seriously I really did think so! But that was at a time when I was surrounded by people not like me at all, they were not compassionate, did not care one iota for anyone, no respect for others or things, you name it. Since then though I have concentrated on finding other fellow aliens and each day I am surprised and blessed more and more as I come in to contact with them… there are so many of us aliens out there just takes patience to find them πŸ™‚ So here is to you my fellow aliens and thanks for all that you do! The poem is donated by Cordie (thanks you)

Alike and Not

Simplify and ratify
Feelings that you bare
Understand how really grand
These emotions are we share
All mankind is blind
To how much we are alike
The human race is from one place
We all circle the same light
The thing that makes us individual
And not at all mutual
Is our dear sweet inner spirit
That keeps our fires lit
Without this singleness of soul
We’re like the ant in his hole
All puppets on a string
To the one who grabs the ring
Alike yet different each
As we walk along life’s beach
We share and learn from one another
Family all we are each other
