F/H: Feeling stressed out?

Thanks FroggyWoogie for sending this one through to me!

Picture yourself near a stream. Birds are softly chirping in the crisp cool mountain air.

Nothing can bother you here.

No one knows this secret place.

You are in total seclusion from that place called “the world.”

The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.

The water is clear and you can easily make out the face of the person whose head you’re holding under the water.

Look. It’s the person who caused you all this stress.

What a pleasant surprise.

You let them up… just for a quick breath… then plop!… back under they go…

You allow yourself as many deep breaths as you want.

There now… feeling better?

  1. Since my stress is due to the need to do full time work plus education inorder to provide for a family and have a good chance to do it better in the future – my person under there would probably be whoever is the cause of Israel’s economic policy. But the governments have switched so fast lately, and all built up these long term economic plans that get thrown in the dump as soon as a new government takes over – it’s really hard to tell who is at fault.
I guess it’s Bibbi, the former finance minister who also was our prime minster 1997-99 and probably will be our next prime minister. He is the laisses-faire policy guy who thinks it’s perfectly ok that society is built on the hard work of low paid workers who works hard all day to fill up the millionaires’ pockets.
On the other hand, I will most probably vote for him – he’s the only candidate that doesn’t want to kick me out of my house.
In the meanwhile, I’ll just hold him under the water.

  2. Tell you what, I think I’ll help you hold him under the water until someone wakes up and remembers what they were going to do… you sure Israel isn’t in Africa cause it sure sounds that way to me!
