I woke up this morning to the most beautifulist of sights ever and I mean EVER… it was snowing and real snow flakes were falling to the ground! No seriously REAL ones!!!
I stood by my window mesmerized for close on an hour, thankfully no school for the kids today otherwise they would’ve been very very late (apart from the fact that the elder only woke up at 1pm… um jet lag anyone?). Sorry back to snow flakes, I have never seen them fall before and to watch each single one flutter from the sky was pure incredibleness deluxe!
Now I know what you all mean by their beauty, how each one is different and on their own currents and yet all flow together in a flurry of movement towards the ground settling down there in a beautiful blanket…
I feel like a kid
I am a kid
WOW
I actually caught snow flake’s on my tongue (and no they weren’t bird poops honestly, they tasted like real snow!)
Soz took me a few hours… back from another watching of the snow flakes, can’t believe it is snowing again… ok fine, you guys can laugh for me the below photos are (crap) but have SNOW – it was so cold that um they were really fast snaps and not even on the real camera (it doesn’t like wet too much).
Laugh hmph its fine – today is one of the best days of my life and one I am going to remember forever… real snow falling to the ground!
WHOOHOOO!
Ok stop laughing now…
Note to self, learn how to dodge flying snowballs better

YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Snowflakes are magical, no laughing here, except in total GLEE that you are having the day of your life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When you come here to visit, hopefully it will be in part of our six month winter that we are famous for…… and we can build a snowman/woman AND have a massive snowball fight; I will teach you to dodge and to hit right where you want to!!!!!
I love you sis…… I really think there is nothing more beautiful than snow falling in England today, except when it is falling at night in the mountains, near where we are……
It brings a quiet with it like no other…….

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…..I’m so happy for you. I also love snow. I have to love it. With the amount we get, I’d not be a very happy person if I hated it. Better to go with the flow. I’m so glad you didn’t get any bird poops…Gawd how you make me laugh. That backyard looks delicious.
Have the bestest of days Aud’s. I’m there with you in spirit.
PS…we will have a snowball fight one day. I’m not sure I want to mess with Vanessa though. With her dodging to and fro, she sounds like a pro 🙂

I also love to watch it snow nothing like standing inside where it’s warm and cozy w/ a cup of something hot in hand..and watching it fall.
(for the same reason Joy does). I better love it where we live cause some years there’s lots of it. now ice is a different matter..we got some of that last weekend too…it’s not as romantic as snow…yea those bird foot prints were pretty cute…glad you’re still a kid @ heart

I only saw real snow fall for the first time in March, 2008, so I ain’t laughing at you! I know exactly how you feel – that little kid excitement, feeling like you want to just jump up and down, the grin that just doesn’t want to be wiped off your face… The world feels bigger somehow, more beautiful.

Thanks for the laugh!
Judging from the tracks you left in the snow…
You appear to have bird-like feet. You should prolly see someone about that. 😉

I’m so happy for you Sanity! I love when it is snowing big fat flakes and there’s no wind so it falls straight down. It really is pretty. You do need to have a snowball fight in MN b/c you would not believe the snow and if you think it’s cold there….ha! You have no idea!!!!
